Nikorima – hmm that’s a Maori name
from my wonderful book of fairy tales, I recently realised that this story is about people from my country (little old NZ). The illustrations are a bit off, but the story is fantastic

My favourite book
I’ve had this book since I was little, and it means a great deal to me, I think it is the germ for a lot of the wild & tangled vines that seem to sprout out of me (figuratively of course). I’ll add some images from it soon – as I think some of the illustrations are breath taking. If anyone has a copy that isn’t destroyed by time, please get in touch as in it’s journeys it managed to lose a page, and I’d really love to know how that story ends!
